Marni Amsellem, Ph.D. has been a licensed psychologist for nearly two decades. Her approach to practicing therapy is individualized to each client’s unique needs, strengths, and experiences, yet is firmly rooted in evidence-based principles. She views her role as serving as a guide for exploration and skill-building, in a warm, supportive, and safe space. She specializes in treating anxiety, depression, adjustment to health concerns and medical diagnoses, navigating life transitions, improving sleep and other lifestyle behaviors, and achieving behavior change. 

Dr. Amsellem provides therapy via telehealth throughout Connecticut, New York, Maryland, and Iowa, as well as most of the rest of the United States (please view the link of all PsyPact states where Dr. Amsellem can provide online therapy) via a HIPAA-compliant video telehealth platform.

Dr. Amsellem offers niche consultation services, providing clinically-informed content and insights to organizations, media, and businesses, ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. Dr. Amsellem’s expertise draws from her experience in diverse settings, including healthcare, non-profit organizations, corporate wellness, private practice, media, editorial, and research consulting teams.  

Education and Training Background

Dr. Amsellem graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in Human Development. She earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, specialization in health psychology, from Washington University in St. Louis.
